What is The Great Awakening?
The world is in a mess, and it can be clearly seen if we zoom out of our ideologies, biases, and assumptions.
If I turn the water of all oceans into the ink of my pen, even then I won’t be able to describe the kind of plight that humanity is in both outwardly and inwardly. I used this as a hyperbole to make you feel the magnitude of problem at hand.
Having achieved the impeccable heights in Science and Culture, humanity failed tremendously at doing the same on an individual level. Being unaware of his true nature, a person suffers and that suffering expresses itself violently in the form of Climate Change, nuclear war threat, animal cruelty, desire to dominate and oppress, and other plights of humanity.
The most fundamental cause of our trajectory towards destruction is the human mind in its current state of ignorance, or more specifically, the Ego. That’s the core of everything that needs to be stopped right now.
That’s why spirituality is needed. Spirituality is about dissolving the ego into our true nature; it’s about ending the source of cruelty, destruction, and mental health deterioration.
The darkness in the inner world leads to the darkness in the outer world and our current plight is the epitome of it. Fighting the outer world while keeping the inner world same is like trying to kill cancer by applying cream on the outer body. If we want a permanent solution to the world’s problems, we have to go to the source radiating them i.e., we have to fix our understanding of being human.
Awakening is the term that’s most commonly used when someone gets conscious of his true identity; when someone wins over his sense of ‘I’ and gets connected with the Ultimate. Because we need it at the relatively greater level, that’s why I named this publication “THE GREAT AWAKENING.”
