ISSUE #72: Biden admits the reality, but after 3 months of destruction.
It took them $54 billion to come to the obvious solution to end the war.
“I’m not gonna tell them what they should and shouldn’t do, but it appears to me that at some point along the line there’s going to have to be a NEGOTIATED SETTLEMENT here.”
This was President Biden’s response when a reporter asked, “Does Ukraine have to cede territory to achieve peace?”
( The US President saying it’s NOT his job to tell another country what they should and shouldn’t do IS THE JOKE OF THE DAY. ;)
It took these people $54 billion to come to the same conclusion that the people with their eyes open and operational brain knew on the first day of the war. Let that sink in.
This is a drastic change in his response to the conflict from a couple of weeks ago when he openly talked about regime change in Russia. And now he is saying that there has to be a “negotiated settlement” to achieve peace. What else did these warmongers think was gonna happen? Was it that Ukraine was gonna crush the Russian army? Or was it that Russia was gonna submit to Ukraine? At the end of the day, anyone not propagandized by the Western media knew that “Ukraine winning the war” was nothing more than a fantasy that the empire apologists could only think and talk about.
We all knew that this was how the war was gonna end - the way Putin wanted it. Either the Donbas region - the Eastern part of Ukraine - was gonna be autonomous or annexed into Russia. WE ALL KNEW THIS. But still, they made the public believe that Ukraine is “winning” the war against Russia.
Why did they do this? To fight a proxy war against Russia so that they can “weaken” Russia and launder $54 billion to enrich themselves and their friends at Raytheon. The propaganda was necessary to pull $54 billion out of the US treasury and transfer it to the weapons manufacturers’ bank accounts. This is the truth. The media will never ever highlight this.
That’s why they lied about the “Ghost of Kyiv,” “Snake island,” and almost everything to exaggerate Ukraine’s defense capabilities and justify them sending billions of dollars worth of weapons that ultimately fill the pockets of the ruling class with ZERO benefits to the working class of either country.
It’s interesting that no one in the West wanted any kind of peace negotiation with Russia during the early days of the war. Boris Johnson even visited the so-called “war zone” last month and strongly opposed any peace negotiation when he said, “he [Putin] should be pressured, not negotiated with.” Put simply, he was against diplomacy - which is the only peaceful solution to any war.
Now that their plan to “weaken” Russia has failed miserably as Russia is winning on the field, millions are turned into refugees, and billions of dollars have been laundered, Biden is coming out after 3 months of destruction and talking about “negotiated settlement,” which should have been the priority on the Day 1 of the conflict, not the weapons that only prolonged the war. It doesn’t make any sense. But it makes full sense when you look at it from the US’s perspective: When your goal is to “weaken” Russia and launder billions of dollars, you do exactly what the US did.
If they really cared about peace in Ukraine, they would not have let this war happen in the first place or at least not have prolonged the war after it had already taken place. The US empire could have simply protected Zelensky when the Azov Nazis of Ukraine were threatening to kill him if he goes forward with peace negotiations with Russia - as he promised during the election campaigns - but the warmonger empire didn’t, which really shows what their motives were.
Imagine if they prioritized fixing homelessness with the same $54 billion that they used to fight a proxy war against Russia that could easily lead to a nuclear apocalypse and end every life on this planet.
If a normal guy like me who works at a restaurant knew that only peace negotiations can end the conflict, not the weapons then that means the people in power definitely knew this. Yet, they voted to do otherwise. They are using Ukraine merely as cannon fodder to fight a proxy war against Russia and launder billions of dollars. Nothing else.

Astute piece. Worth noting that media attention around Russia-Ukraine has also (conveniently) decreased recently. Probably in light of the fact that it’s becoming harder to push the narrative that Ukraine can somehow “win”.
