"The Great Reset" is scary, but not because of the reasons you're told.
If all you show your child are horror movies, then what they’ll perceive at every stage of their life are the ghosts until they realize that what they saw in the movies was as detached from reality as the fallen fruit is from the stem.
The same goes with the capitalist simps of the modern world; they are being marinated in the anti-communism propaganda for so long that they start bleeding “Oh my god, communism will take over the world this time” from each of their pores and each of their holes every time they see something that seems anti-capitalist, let alone anti-capitalist in real. That’s the level of trauma you have to deal with to be a hard-liner capitalist stan, which makes me feel sorry for them sometimes.
Here’s the testament:
“It [The Great Reset] will be no different than global communism,” says one such simp in a reply to a tweet I made from my now-suspended account.
This notion is as omnipresent, especially in the Western world, as the one that says “We live in a democracy,” and as easily refutable as “I can fly.”
“The Great Reset” agenda to “reshape the world” by 2030 has been around for many years but it became a topic of public discussion and a matter of worry for the prey of conspiracy theories in mid-2020 when the WEF held its annual summit in Switzerland. I think it was the timing of the summit that fertilized the ground for conspiracy theories to grow and spread widely because the governments around the world were taking strict measures to slow down the Covid spread and some fuzzy brained intelligentsia blended authoritarian measures with communism to brew narratives about “communist takeover”.
All the ingredients were on the table - authoritarian Covid measures, communism being authoritarianism, and the Great Reset being about forcibly taking away your private property - and the simps of capitalism were ready with saucepans in their hands to prepare a cognitively tasty dish called “communist takeover.”
Different people came up with different theories to show how evil the agenda is but it’s not hard to break them down into one sentence: The Great Reset represents the coterie - the global elites - that want to install a one-world communist government by forcibly taking away the private property of everyone, solve the issue of overpopulation by systemic mass killing, and enslaving whoever left with microchipped vaccines.
Much of the 1950s-like hysteria about communism lies around one of the 8 predictions that the WEF made about how the world can change by 2030 in a video posted in 2016. That prediction was “You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy”; the rightist circles took this single line out of context, gave it a red shade, and started circulating it on the online forums as evidence of the revival of communism when in reality it was just an imagination of the futuristic world borrowed from an article written by a Danish politician - Ida Auken - in which he predicted that the automation would have advanced so much that it would make more sense to have items like pasta makers ordered and delivered when they’re needed rather than buying them and keeping them in cupboards.
“Once in a while, I will choose to cook for myself. It is easy - the necessary kitchen equipment is delivered at my door within minutes. Since transport became free, we stopped having all those things stuffed into our home. Why keep a pasta-maker and a crepe cooker crammed into our cupboards? We can just order them when we need them,” wrote Auden.
Sure, keep fretting about communism if the ability to order a pressure cooker whenever needed and have it delivered within minutes by an Amazon-like drone delivery service sounds like an overthrow of capitalism to you. But the capitalism simps are so deep into their ideological anus that they don’t want to consider the context in which that prediction was made, all they want to do is to just keep repeating that one single line until it starts flowing in the veins of the listener.
The capitalism simps have crammed this one line so well that they can’t stop themselves from vomiting it up whenever a conversation about the Great Reset starts.
“Hey, how can you be so sure that we’re being transitioned to communism by the WEF?”
“Because they want to take away your private property.”
“What?”
“Yes, they made a prediction that by 2030 you’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy.”
“Thanks for awakening me, I won’t let the communist Trudeau, communist Biden, and the communist WEF take away my private property.”
This is not to say that the Great Reset is nothing to be scared of. We must oppose the Great Reset not because it’s communistic (it isn’t) but because it represents the wet dream of every capitalist i.e., it would tighten the yolk of capitalism around the neck of the working class, emasculate the democratic institutions by giving big corporations more power over how to run the world. Whatever restrictions that the corporations might have today will be lifted because, in WEF’s own words, “[after the Great Reset] the government voice would be one among many, without always being the final arbiter.”
Isn’t it what each one of the capitalists wants? This makes them look even dumber because they’re opposing agendas that advance the interests of the system that they claim to support. A person who clearly understands his position about something would either support or oppose that one thing, but when you start supporting and opposing the same thing at the same time it becomes clear that you’re unclear about your position.
We live in an insanely insane world where the Great Reset agenda, whose every single word is cloaked in capitalism, is represented as a communist agenda. The arguments being used to further the hysteria are so contradictory that saying “gravity pulls things upward” makes more sense in comparison.
Agonizing about communism, especially in the Western world, is like agonizing about an asteroid hitting the planet. The Western countries are so violently and mentally suppressed to keep capitalism functioning that it would make more sense for its people to worry about being struck by lightning than being anxious about communism. The US empire fought a fucking cold war to overthrow communism and preserve capitalism, and it would take a significant absence of brain cells to conclude that the same empire is working to set up communism.
I have no problem if you think that the communist takeover is the worst possible thing to ever happen to the world, but please stop embarrassing yourself in public by conflating two opposite things. The objective of the Great Reset and communism are as opposite as the starting point of a straight line is to its ending point. It’s not communism that’s taking over the world, it’s anti-communism propaganda that’s taking over the world, and if you’re reading this, you’re adult enough to recognize the difference between the two.
Red-under-the-bed hysteria has always been used to advance capitalist agendas and this time is no different as the current fretting about it is being used to grease the wheels of another cold war against another communist government - CCP. This means that when you march along the herd chanting “meh, meh, communism is taking over,” you’re directly facilitating the most dangerous agendas of the most powerful empire in history.
Stop letting your intelligence be insulted like that. Don’t march along with those who are using the Great Reset as an Anglerfish to lure the public into the room of anti-communism only to slam it with the capitalist sledgehammer.
